6 Myths about Digital Cameras

1. How much do I have to spend to get a good digital camera
   You don't need an expensive mortgage the house 35mm with a digital back to take great pictures, a good basic camera with a photographers eye is the important bit.
   
2. You have heard that an Apple is the best for editing photo's
   a PC will do as much as a Mac at a lower cost.
3. Will I have to learn to shoot and edit RAW
   Shooting RAW is not necessary if you set up the camera properly shoot JPEG, takes less memory and is just as effective. if you need to color correct means you made a mistake, color enhance, not color correct,
4. Do I need expensive software add ons
   A computer full of software and plugins will not do any more than out of the box photo shop you need to learn how to color enhance, and crop for composition.
5. How many megapixels do I need
   Megapixels are not the solution to bad photography, its what you do with the megapixels you have that counts.
6. My photography expert says digital photographers are not real photographers.
   Digital is not an easy medium, digital photography does not make a good photographer out of an average one, digital is just a different medium, the fundamentals of photography have not changed, lighting , mood, composition and the structure of the photograph is still just as important as are all the other fundamentals.
